I love the fact that Gemma tells the story from the partner’s point of view. This is a dark tale of promises made and promises not kept. Unable to believe the reality of the situation, he nevertheless makes a promise. Thomas’ girlfriend of 3 years Keziah is bitten by a vampire. Also I think the cover is perfect for the book. Both choices demand a high price, but which is Thomas willing to pay? MY REVIEW: This is a short story. Accept what his girlfriend has become or turn against her. Heartbroken, maddened, and hollow, Thomas has to make a difficult choice. As he fights to discount her story, Thomas tries to nurse her back to health, but it isn’t working. But when one belief dies, it’s because a new one is forming. Keziah believes she has been bitten by a vampire. From that moment a darkling world embraces him. He gets Keziah home, but the horror has just begun. The world Thomas knows changes when he gets a phone call. But all it takes is one shattering moment to change a belief a few nights is more than enough to kill it. BENEATH THE WILLOW by Gemma Farrow BLURB: Thomas loves Keziah.
